RECIPE 03 — CineStill 800T
The recipe I used at the Buffalo Chip Saloon at midnight. It looks like expired cinema film from 1989.
An Eterna-based recipe with Tungsten white balance that makes artificial light look cinematic instead of harsh orange. The FX Blue shift adds that signature CineStill halation glow around light sources. Strong large grain in low light looks intentional — not accidental.
Best for: neon signs, bars, concerts, rodeos, any artificial or mixed light.
Tip: let the ISO climb. This recipe is designed to work with noise, not against it. ISO 3200 looks like cinema, not a mistake.
Includes full settings for every parameter — film simulation, grain, color chrome, white balance, dynamic range, tone curve, color, sharpness, noise reduction, and clarity.
SOOC — straight out of camera. No editing required.
